About Us
Avrio MedTech is a spin-off of the CNRS (Brain and Cognitive Research Center - CerCo, epilepsy research), ENAC (data visualization and XAI group) and Toulouse University. Our team combines expertise in neuroscience, engineering (including signal processing, artificial intelligence, and human-computer interactions) and management. We work closely with medical doctors, engineers and researchers from the Toulouse University Hospital. They are involved at different stages of the design and validation of our tools. Between 2018 and 2023, the Avrio MedTech project received several institutional awards, including the French governmental label "investir l'avenir" (investing for the future).
Halyzia was initially developed by Ludovic Gardy, a brilliant PhD student supervised by Christophe and Emmanuel. Avrio MedTech was funded to valorize this solution aiming at facilitate the work-up of clinicians.
We are a registered social economy company, whose internal operations and activities are based on a principle of solidarity and social utility*.
