Explore and prepare your signal
Hello everyone and welcome to this tutorial. I am going to present how to explore and prepare your signal before launching an automatic detection.
In the main viewer, you can easily navigate through your signal using the directional arrows on your keyboard.
You can also navigate by dragging the signal with your mouse or by clicking on the navigation bar below.
Onthe left, you can change the amplitude of
your signal by zooming in and out on the amplitude numbers.
You can do the same for the time range below.
If you select a channel and right-click on it, you will see multiple functionalities that can be used.
You can also apply these to multiple channels by selecting multiple channels before right-clicking.
If you have micro-channel recordings, you will want to attach them to a macroelectrode.
If you use tetrodes, you can select all microchannels within the tetrode, group them, and attach them to a macroelectrode.
If you don't use tetrodes, you can still attach your microchannels to a macroelectrode.
In the main viewer, you can hide channels or mark them as bad. If you mark a channel as bad, it will not be used for the detections.
We recommend that you prepare your signal using a monopolar montage and launch detections using a bipolar montage.
You also have the option of using an average referencing.
Enjoy exploring your signal!
